We realize that these shortened hours may be inconvenient to many of our loyal clients, but this streamlined schedule will allow my staff and me to serve you better. After 42 years as Elgin’s premier jeweler, we, and the world, are facing an unusual and uncharted retail environment. After listening to our customers, and much reflection, I’m confident moving forward that you will enjoy a unique and personalized experience to purchase fine jewelry, as well as the individualized attention required for excellence in customization and repairs. This will also allow me time to travel the world, to the sources of fine gemstones, to secure the best prices and quality possible.
I am personally committed to our customers, and the Elgin Community. In fact, my wife, Lisa, and I are renovating the upstairs of the Shockey Jewelers building and will be moving there upon completion. The historic Elgin Ornament series will continue, as will our Annual Christmas Open House. We will be open seven days a week in December.
