Does my jewelry brought in for repair or appraisal leave Shockey Jewelers?
Shockey Jewelers has a full repair shop on premises. In general, your repair, stone
setting, and custom jewelry will be done in store by our master craftsmen. Occasionally,
certain jobs and watch repairs must be done off premises, but you will always be
informed. Appraisals are always done on premises.
Can I wait while my repair or appraisal is being done?
Although we have a full service shop on our premises, we ask that you leave your repair
or appraisal for us to finish as soon as possible, usually within one week. We will
always call when your items are ready for pick-up.
Is there a Gemologist on the premises?
Yes, Peter Shockey is a Graduate Gemologist. In addition, all of our staff is well
trained and knowledgeable, and will be able to assist you.
When do you have sales?
We believe in keeping our prices fair and consistent everyday. We do, however, enjoy
showing our appreciation to our customers during an annual Open House the first weekend
of every December. We offer 20% discount on all our inventory during this four day
event.
The gift that I purchased is not what they wanted, what can I do?
Although it is not our policy to give refunds on merchandise, we will gladly exchange or
give credit for any returned purchase.
What are my payment options?
Shockey Jewelers accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express cards.
Personal checks are always welcome. We offer a lay-away program. We have bank contacts
for financing options.
