Citrine, commonly confused with topaz, is believed to guard against scandal and treachery. The name, citrine is derived from it's lemon-yellow color. Citrines range in color from pale yellow to orange and brown. Citrines are commonly mined in Brazil, Malagasy Republic, and the United States.
